Many people want to know what to expect when they come to a service at BIF.  Our main service is Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM. People start arriving sometime after 10:00 AM and visit in the front hall where coffee and tea are provided.  Dress is casual although some people prefer to get all dressed up.

Around 10:30 AM the praise team starts in the main auditorium.  Our music includes more contemporary praise and worship choruses. Although from time to time we do include more tradition hymns. Each week a different member of our church acts as the host helping to guide us through the service. We have a time of welcome, announcements and we take up an offering.

There is a children’s program and at some point during the service the children will be dismissed to their classes. Pastor David or a guest speaker will preach a sermon. Our services usually conclude around 12:00 noon. People stay around and visit if they are able to.

If you are interested in helping to lead worship through singing, playing an instrument or working as a sound or computer technician, please contact our Worship Co-ordinator Krista Schlabach (051-921-6843). There will be formal training on for sound and video technicians on May 1st.

Korean Language Service

There is a Korean language service which meets on the second floor on Sundays at 10:30 at BIS.
